Why travel with us?
We take the stress out of travel by planning every aspect of your trip. While the locations of our adventures change, some things are always included when you travel with us: We always choose destinations near water (because lakes, rivers and the ocean are simply amazing,) air conditioning is always available in your room for destinations with hot climates, we travel in smaller groups (in order to allow for an intimate experience) and we do at least one activity that brings us into the local culture.
Whether we are wine tasting in Oregon or France, laying in the sun in the Caribbean, exploring the mountains and rivers of Norway or watching the sunset in the Bahamas or Southern Spain, we take care of everything which allows you to relax, explore and experience the best our destinations have to offer.
Where we’re staying
The luxurious and character-filled Gardens Hotel is located just a few blocks off of the main street in downtown Key West and offers both quiet and privacy as well as access to everything Key West has to offer.
This hotel was voted the prettiest hotel in Key West, and for good reason! Each of the historical bedrooms has been meticulously restored and include modern bathrooms, luxurious bedding and your own private veranda. The hotel grounds offer a lush, private garden filled with exotic trees, flowers and birds and an onsite bar overlooking the heated pool. The hotel also offers a daily served breakfast in the historical foyer, a serve yourself wine room with quality wines, nightly entertainment and happy hour. Rooms are priced for single occupancy, which means you get your space all to yourself. If you do want to share with a friend, please contact us for pricing.
What we’re doing
Key West is an island located South of mainland Florida and only 90 miles from Cuba. It combines the best of New Orleans, Charleston and the Caribbean offering world class restaurants, the best bars in the US, water adventures like swimming, snorkeling, diving, kayaking and paddle boarding in the 85 degree, calm ocean, the charm and friendliness of a small town and safe environment where you could walk around all night long and never have to worry.
During our stay we will spend time enjoying the amenities of our hotel, have a welcome drink at one of our favorite bars on the island, enjoy a bar tour by a local guide, explore the island via beach cruiser, visit some of the best restaurants, do some amazing shopping, swim in the bath-water ocean and do as many or as little extra activities as you’d like. We love to have a balance between offered activities we can do as a group and also lots of free time for you to explore on your own – so you can make your trip everything you want it to be.
Pricing
Total cost per person: $3,000
50% down to reserve your spot and the other 50% due 30 days before our trip.

Our Plans
Friday, April 1
Arrive at the Key West airport and get on the shuttle to our hotel.
Spend the day settling in at the hotel and meet at 8pm in the hotel foyer for live music, meet and greet and then bike ride to the Rum Bar for our welcome drink.
We will suggest some spots for dinner and drinks afterwards, as well as provide you with a cheat-sheet map of our favorite spots and our hotel location.
Key West is a town that stays up late! Expect to be out and about until all hours of the evening if you want to.
Saturday, April 2
Breakfast at the hotel
Time to explore at your leisure with a list of suggested things to do and see around town
Enjoy a light lunch or snack before our bar tour later in the day
Meet at the bike parking for a guided tour around Key West with some history and fun thrown in
Jump in the pool to cool off when we return and then go get ready for our bar tour
Meet in the hotel foyer at 3:45pm and bike ride to the meeting place for our bar tour
Time to go out, explore or have dinner after the tour. We always like to go back to the bars on the tour to further enjoy them – they are all amazing and places where you can hang out all night.
Optional drinking and dancing late into the night.
Sunday April 3
Breakfast at the hotel
Time to explore or relax at your leisure
Optional trip to the Dry Tortugas via sea plane for exploring and snorkeling OR snorkeling or diving trip on the reef at Looe Key OR water activities. You must reserve your spot ahead of time, so please let us know if you’d like an add-on experience.
Lunch and exploring at your leisure
Meet at the bike parking at 4 for a guided tour down to the southernmost point and southernmost house for pictures and souvenir shopping.
Enjoy dinner at the restaurant of your choosing, or dine as a group at one of our favorite restaurants.
Explore Duvall St and all of the eclectic bars, most featuring live music.
Monday April 4
Breakfast at the hotel
Meet at the bike parking to ride down to the beach at Fort Zachary Tailor where we will enjoy lounging and swimming in the crystal clear, 85 degree water (admission to the park included)
Enjoy lunch at one of our suggested spots or explore and find a place of your own
Take our last afternoon to do what you’d like – shopping, relaxing, a massage, or biking around town
Enjoy dinner on your own or with the group at one of our favorite restaurants
Dance, drink or explore the night away as a group or on your own
Tuesday April 5
Breakfast at the hotel
Get packed and ready to check out
Meet in the foyer for a group goodbye
Head to the airport for your flight home
COVID considerations
The state of Florida does not have a mask mandate, therefore it is up to you if you’d like to wear a mask at any time or not. Key West is in the United States so there are no testing requirements for flying. We require you to have trip insurance that covers COVID so that, if you are unable to travel because of COVID, you can get your money back. This also covers extra costs should you contract COVID on the trip and need to stay longer for treatment. The hotel is taking measures to clean and sanitize the hotel on a daily basis.
Cancellation Policy: We have a strict 30-day cancellation policy. There are no refunds or credits. If you need to cancel within the 30-day window, you must make a claim through your travel insurance in order to be reimbursed.
